Shirts

Acceptable patterns that are less outrageous are standard to wear for your office. You can also pick a monotone shirt with colors, sleeveless or turtleneck design, as it looks elegant in formal atmosphere. Tuck your shirt or leave it untucked, as per your comfort, but do wear a belt if you are tucking it inside your trouser or jeans.

Pants 

You have a wide option of casual pants to wear in your office. Khakis, dress pants, trousers or the corduroy pants are in trend now days and you can pick as per your choice. Jeans is also one of the best casual options for your office, but it should be of a darker color.

Skirts or dresses 

If you are wearing a skirt make sure that its length is up to your knees. Never go for skintight or sun dresses, as they look less formal in the office. For dresses, select those in which you are most comfortable. Neutral formal colors with symmetrical patterns look great.

Shoes

Go for the leather shoes, as they are comfortable, durable, formal and elegant too. Closed toed heels or flats both are fine for formal atmosphere. Never pick the flip-flops, sneakers, sandals or casual boots for your office, as they don’t look good!

Jackets/ coats 

A good overcoat, sweater, pea coat, trench coat or any other elegant jacket is best for a formal atmosphere. These are manufactured separately for the summers and winters, so don’t get confused with it. Get it off when you are in the office, wear it when you are going out from your cabin, department or for a meeting.

Accessories 

Light jewelry is allowed in the office, only the required ones. A good leather purse or handbag. A watch with metal strip or a light chain is must have accessory to show your punctuality.

For men, dark colored suits with light lined shirts are like an evergreen trend. Leather shoes, belt and wallet are ideal accessories that they should carry with design coordination. Semi formal trousers or dark colored jeans are also fine in the office sometimes, when you are in casual mood.
